Important letter from the President of the Half Moon Sober Festival, Inc. please read;

Hello Halfmooners,

We hope this message finds you safe and healthy.  It’s been quite a year for all of us.

As we look forward to the warmer weather and Half Moon being about 83 days away from today, I’m sure you are all wondering what’s going on.

Will we finally be able to camp and celebrate the 25th annual Half Moon Sober Festival.  The board of Half Moon have discussed and explored all of our options.  We have contacted the state, the town and the campground for extra guidance.  We’ve read the current state guidelines for having a festival in 2021.  At this time for the safety of our patrons, volunteers, musicians, workshop providers, our staff, their families and the town of New Boston we have decided as a board not to have the festival this year.  This decision was not an easy one to make, we are just as anxious to be with you all and celebrate Half Moon’s 25th year.  Our main concern is our patrons we do not want to put any of you at risk.

We are currently discussing and planning some kind of fundraiser get together that would happen later in the summer.

We are also starting to plan Half Moon for 2022 so please keep checking our page for updates.  I know it’s a year away but with time all things will come together and no matter what happens within the next year we will be ready to celebrate with all of you.

We love and miss you all dearly and we hope to see you all soon.

Please continue to stay safe and healthy.

Love to you all,
Julie
